NumbersUSA is a non-profit organization based in Arlington, Virginia, USA. The organization aims at limiting the number of immigrants in the United States. It provides education on immigration policies by establishing a non-partisan environment for discussion.

Roy Beck founded NumbersUSA in 1996. His goal was to help limit the number of immigrants getting allowed in the USA. Its formation was a response to the following national commissions:

Bill Clinton’s task force on population and consumption. This one aimed at reducing the number of immigrants based on economic facts.
To obtain US citizenship, an immigrant had to meet the following conditions. First, one needed to get adopted or married to a U.S. citizen. The individual should have skills that would be of interest to the nation. A refugee with no intention of going back to their country was also eligible for citizenship.
NumbersUSA advocated for cancellation chain migration, visa lottery, and illegal immigration. It imposed new visiting policies that allowed studying and touring for short periods.
